2 Fallen Officials Honored Friday At Police Memorial

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Gov. Sam Brownback has ordered flags to become lowered in order to half-staff upon Friday to be able to honor Kansas law enforcement officers.
The nineteenth annual Kansas Law Enforcement Funeral candlelight vigil was held Thursday night night on the Law Enforcement Memorial on statehouse grounds.
The 32nd Police Memorial Ceremony, also on the statehouse grounds was held at noon.
Two names had been added to the particular monument this season.
Fort Martin police officer Samuel McLemore had been shot in addition to killed in the line of duty in 1892.
Rosedale Police Dept. Adam Karr was killed with a fleeing believe in 1916.
